Administration
Harveen
Harveen is our Director. She has been working in childcare for 23 years and is one of the co-owners. Harveen has three young children and loves spending her free time with her family and enjoying the company of friends.
Lead Teachers
Chelsie – Infants
Chelsie is our infant room lead teacher. She has been part of the Next Horizons family for over six years. She is mom to two beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and family doing fun activities and cooking. Chelsie is our resident organizer and creative designer. She has lots of talent besides taking care of the littlest ones.
Ty - Ones
Ty has been part of the Next Horizons family for over six years. She has worked at every level in our program. She became a lead teacher to the infants two years ago. This past year, she moved up with her second group of babies into the Ones Room. In her spare time, she enjoys snagging modeling gigs, spending time with her nieces and nephews
Megan – Twos
Megan has been at Next Horizons for 13 years! She has looped up with 3 cohorts of kiddos. That means she has provided continuity in caregiving from infancy to Pre-K to many children. In her spare time, Megan enjoys chauffeuring her daughter to her many activities, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Alicia – Preschool
This is Alicia’s first year at Next Horizons. She is the lead for our younger preschool classroom. Prior to joining our family, she worked at Head Start in Wisconsin for five years. She is mom to two beautiful daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two kids and extended family members.
Robin – Older Preschool
Robin is our Preschool Room lead teacher and she is also a co-owner. She has been working at Next Horizons since its inception in 2006 and has over 30 years of experience in childcare. In her spare time, she enjoys being a Grammy to her five grandchildren and reading mystery novels.
Eric - Pre-K
Eric has been part of the Next Horizons family since its inception in 2006 as well. He has over 25 years of experience in the early childhood field. He has looped up with many cohorts of children. He is dad to two awesome kids and enjoys traveling and playing with his kids and family.
Michael – Pre-K
Michael is our Pre-K curriculum coordinator. Michael is in charge of developing, planning and implementing the curriculum for Pre-K. Michael has two amazing kiddos! In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, journaling, reading comic books and theatre.
Assistant Leads
Assistant Leads must work for our program for at least one year before becoming a lead. It is important for our lead staff to fully understand our philosophy in order to implement it effectively and this takes time. Many of our assistant leads attend school full time and Next Horizons supports their ongoing education by being flexible with availability. Assistant are required to work a minimum of 30 hrs/week.

Classroom Assistants
Classroom Assistants work anywhere from 15-40 hrs/week depending on their availability and needs of the classroom. Classroom assistants play an integral role at Next Horizons as a support system for our lead staff.
